The second edition of the International Congress on Dimension Stones (ICDS) has been held in Carrara, Italy, on 29th - 31st May 2008.

Dimension stones: 21st century challenges is the subject of the congress; papers related to all the aspects of the sector - including study of materials, technology and market - have been presented as well as a panel discussion on sustainable development has been held.
